While we were on vacation in Vermont some friends had recommended visiting Woodstock. While on route from Norwich to Woodstock we noticed a bunch of people standing around and taking pictures from the side of the bridge we were crossing. We pulled over to see what the view was all about and found Quechee Gorge. The river that goes through this gorge is the Ottauquechee River.
Dartmouth has a beautiful ivy league campus which is enhanced by the bright fall colors. The red leaves on this tree were especially striking with the campus buildings in the background.
While we were on vacation in New England we stayed at The Norwich Inn in Norwich, Vermont. I took this photo of the fall leaves across the street from the inn. It was overcast when I took the photo but the colors were still very bright, the red leaves were nearly magenta in color.
On the recent vacation to New Hampshire and Vermont we sought out a few locations of covered bridges. This is a photo of Covered Bridge #21, which is South of Hanover in Cornish, New Hampshire. This bridge is know as the Blacksmith Shop Bridge.
We recently took a short vacation to New England while the fall colors were in full affect. I took this opportunity to take many photos. I shot this collage of trees along I-89 North on the way to Hanover at the Springfield Rest Area and Welcome Center.
