It was early morning in Kashgar when I took this photo. We were crossing the street and I wanted to get a shot of the donkey cart so I to capture this image I “shot from the hip” and it came out exactly as you see it here. I thought it came out somewhat interesting.
Although by no means the only form of transportation, we saw several donkey carts transporting people and goods around the city. I took this photo of this presumably Uyghur man on his donkey cart in the oasis city of Kashgar. Kashgar is the western most city in Xinjiang and the western most city along the silk road in China.
