The ruggedness of the area can be very photographic. Few suggestions: make sure you remove the dust spots from the images, those can be really distracting (but also easy to find) on blue sky shots like this. Also, if you had some sort of fore ground interest, this photo would be more compelling. Something to pull the viewer into the image, otherwise everything on the bottom third of the photo is wasted un-interesting space. All things to keep in mind next time your out shooting.
